Our Story
Jim Lim, Founder and Creative Director of Atelier Design Studio, is an engineer by training. Graduating with a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, he spent 8 years as an engineer in a manufacturing plant.
Ready for new challenges, he switched gears and joined an interior design firm as a design assistant. Having learned the ropes and honed his craft. he first struck out in a partnership, then his very own when Atelier Design Studio was established in 2015.
Our goal is to design with heart. creating homes that are not only beautiful, but built to last.
